The House of Swank™ participated in the Alzheimer's Association Memory Walk®, the nation's largest event to raise awareness and funds for Alzheimer care, support and research. Memory Walk is a community event that joins friends, family and co-workers as they walk to end Alzheimer’s.
A Cinderella Ball
The House of Swank™ participated in The House Inc's Fifth Annual “A Cinderella Ball” , an annual gala for disabled middle and high school students in the greater Washington, DC area.
'A Cinderella Ball' is a formal evening gala. Girls receive a free gown, accessories and shoes donated after proms, by local individuals and businesses. The boys receive a donated handkerchief, socks, and a silk tie from a high-end store. Professionals do the girls’ hair and make-up, and military volunteers shine the guys’ shoes on the day of the Ball.
